I'm Alive..

I'm alive... barely! I've been busy helping my parents move into their beautiful new home here in Utah and also moving myself into my new condo! Lots of fun times for the Sampson's, but also super busy. Hopefully things will calm down a little and then I can get back to my totally random post! Love you all!

HELP!

I am in need of all you cute, creative ladies help! Due to the sudden upgrade of bed size from my old condo to my new one I'm in need of new bedding! I got an amazing steal on a new down comforter at the Macy's home sale and now I am just in need of the PERFECT duvet cover to cover it! Seems simple enough, right? Not when it come to ME! I already have deep red curtains so I would prefer something that would match those so I don't have to buy new ones... but if I find a duvet cover that I am just in love with ... then screw the curtains! So let me know if you have any cute ideas... thanks ya'll! This post makes me laugh at how pathetic I am! :)

The Haps...

I've been super busy lately keeping up with school and work and haven't had much time to post. I headed home to Seattle a few weeks ago to say bye to some friends and family before my parents move down here. It was a really fun trip but also pretty sad having to say good-bye. But I'm sure I'll be back visiting lots! Kaylee and I got to spend fun Auntie/niece bonding time together... we went to the Children's Museum and the beach! She is getting so old and it's fun taking her places and being able to have full conversations with her! Anywho... I tooks lots of pictures when I was home but I'll just share a few. If you want to see more look at my sisters blog... she loves posting pictures! :) Also.. I stole some pictures from my friend Rob that we took at school one night... I thought they were pretty cute so I had to share! I love going to Beauty school, it's like having a girls night everynight! I'll make sure to post lots of pictures after my parents big move in this weekend! Have a great week everyone!

Chewy, Irresistible Caramel Corn!!!

This is my new favorite thing to make, oh my word it is so good and chewy! The best part... it's SUPER easy to make, Enjoy...

Ingredients
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup popcorn
Directions
1. Pop the popcorn kernels and put into a greased large bowl.
2. Melt butter on medium heat in a medium size saucepan.
3. Turn heat down to low, and add brown sugar, stir until blended together well.
4. Making sure that the sugar does not burn turn the heat back up to medium, and add corn syrup. All the while stirring and making sure there is no sticking.
5. Add the salt and baking soda. This will make the sugar double in size be careful not to let it go over the sides of the pot.
6. Immediately pour onto popcorn.
7. Stir until the caramel has covered popcorn completely.
8. Transfer onto a cookie sheet with wax paper, and let cool.
