Just had to share this amazing video with you all!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, hope everyone had a wonderful day! We made it through our first Thanksgiving here in Utah, a little weird not spending it in the Seattle rain but I think we adjusted quite well! So much to be thankful for, number one being that my family is now here in Utah making it much easier for all of us to be together this year! We even got the pleasure of having my cousin Jeni and her family join us for the afternoon. Last year I spent Thanksgiving flying home on a plane from Italy, eating pasta might I add, SO it was a nice change this year actually getting to enjoy Thanksgiving to the fullest!

Van, next football pro!

I guess Presley doesn't like olives

Pres with her favorite auntie

Pres with her cast :( Still happy as ever!

Miss Kaylee Ellah!

Kaylee is always saying the funniest things lately, must be something to do with the age! Sadly, she is also going through the stage where she tells me she doesn't like me anymore, which I have learned not to take personally. So last night I asked Kaylee if she loved me and she replied yes. I then asked her when she started loving me again, her reply "hmmm, Tuesday!" haha gotta love her!
Kaylee also has a new thing where she gives me a new toy to take home with me every time I leave the house. Usually some random animal that happens to be sitting around as I head out the door. Anyhow, yesterday my Dad and I were up in Kaylee's room playing with her and Pres. I had given back to her the random stuff animal I had to haul home from the previous visit and asked her what she wanted me to take home this time. She handed me a few things and I asked her if there was anything else, her reply "and my little sister" oh goodness! Oh how I love this little girl and am so grateful to be her aunt!

I Love My Sister...

I love my sister for the fact she lets me chops off 4 inches of hair and dye it dark! Watch out Ash, you're next! Too bad we forgot to take a picture of what Annie's hair looked like before the big make over, but we did take a after shot! Thanks for being such a good sport sis, love you!!

Also had to add this beauty.... I'm expressing my feelings about the current parking situation at our school. It was cold, snowy and Riley and I had to walk a mile to her freakin car! I (aka my parents) pay how much to go to that darn school and we don't even get parking! K that's enough venting for one night! I've been SUPER busy planning the best dang secret bridal shower for this weekend... can't wait to post pictures!

(And people wonder why I'm single haha!)

Oh and one last thing.... did you know Nordstrom offers a concierge service with their highest credit card, you have got to be kidding me! And the half yearly sucked, what the heck! Wow I need a life!

Great Quote by Elder Maxwell....

A 30-yr old quote that's so applicable to today . . . . .

"Make no mistake about it, brothers and sisters, in the months and years ahead, events are likely to require each member to decide whether or not he will follow the First Presidency. Members will find it more difficult to halt longer between two opinions. President Marion G. Romney said, many years ago, that he had 'never hesitated to follow the counsel of the Authorities of the Church even though it crossed my social, professional or political life.'

"This is hard doctrine, but it is particularly vital doctrine in a society which is becoming more wicked. In short, brothers and sisters, not being ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ includes not being ashamed of the prophets of Jesus Christ. . . . Your discipleship may see the time when such religious convictions are discounted. . . . This new irreligious imperialism seeks to disallow certain opinions simply because those opinions grow out of religious convictions.

"Resistance to abortion will be seen as primitive. Concern over the institution of the family will be viewed as untrendy and unenlightened.... Before the ultimate victory of the forces of righteousness, some skirmishes will be lost. Even in these, however, let us leave a record so that the choices are clear, letting others do as they will in the face of prophetic counsel. There will also be times, happily, when a minor defeat seems probable, but others will step forward, having been rallied to rightness by what we do. We will know the joy, on occasion, of having awakened a slumbering majority of the decent people of all races and creeds which was, till then, unconscious of itself. Jesus said that when the fig trees put forth their leaves, 'summer is nigh.' Thus warned that summer is upon us, let us not then complain of the heat." (Elder Neal A. Maxwell, BYU devotional address, Oct 10, 1978)

I'm Moving On...

For those of you who I get the pleasure of doing the hair of... I thought I would inform you, I'm making the "big" move to Phase 2. What does this mean to my clients?... not a whole lot! But my prices will go up slightly up so therefore I recommend coming and getting your hair done one more time while I'm still in Phase 1! I hope to start working over in Phase 2 by the end of the month, so make your appointments soon! Can't wait to see ya'll!
